Fish recipe on a wooden surface - Gourmet Honey Glazed Grilled Salmon .

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine the finely grated ginger, honey, pepper, olive oil, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Stir well to create the marinade.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fillets are coated evenly. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  4. Meanwhile, in another small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and melted butter to create a glaze.
  5. Grease the grill grates to prevent sticking. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the preheated grill, skin-side down if they have skin. Close the lid and grill for about 5-6 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula, then brush the top side generously with the brown sugar and butter glaze. Close the lid and grill for another 5-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Adjust the cooking time according to the thickness of the fillets.
  7. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the grilled salmon with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. It’s a delightful and healthy meal option that’s perfect for any occasion!

Note: The prep time, cook time, and total cook time provided are approximate and may vary based on the grill temperature and the thickness of the salmon fillets.
