Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Combine the finely grated ginger, honey, pepper, olive oil, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Stir well to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fillets are coated evenly. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
- Meanwhile, in another small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and melted butter to create a glaze.
- Grease the grill grates to prevent sticking. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the preheated grill, skin-side down if they have skin. Close the lid and grill for about 5-6 minutes.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula, then brush the top side generously with the brown sugar and butter glaze.
